About the Digital Pass +

What is the Digital Pass?

First launched in 2021, the Digital Pass gives online audiences access to London’s annual international dance festival, through a specially curated digital festival programme available to watch on danceumbrella.co.uk.  

Each year the programme is curated by Artistic Director & Co-CEO Freddie Opoku-Addaie, sometimes with the contribution of guest curators. Over the years, the programme has featured dance films (including those by artists featured in the in-person festival), performances, panel discussions and talks recorded live at the festival, artist interviews, audio works and articles. 

The digital programme is available throughout the duration of the festival and as a bonus, also through the month of November. 

The Digital Pass is £15 (£7 concession). 

The Digital Pass gives online audiences access to the entire digital programme, 7 October – 30 November 2026. 

Is the Digital Pass available worldwide?

The Digital Pass is available worldwide, apart from the follow locations:  

China (excluding Hong Kong), Indonesia, Crimea, Cuba, Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR), Luhansk People’s Republic (LPR), Iran, North Korea, and Syria. 

This is due to Vimeo being blocked or sanctioned in these places. 

What does the Digital Pass give me access to?

The Digital Pass gives you access to Dance Umbrella’s entire 2026 digital festival programme. All included events are listed on the Digital Pass page. More content will be added throughout the festival. 

How long is the Digital Pass available for?

The Digital Pass is available to purchase right up until 30 November. 

The 2026 digital programme is available to watch online from 10.00 BST 7 October until 30 November 2026 at 23:59 GMT. Please be aware of the time difference if you are in a different time zone to the UK.

Purchasing the Digital Pass +

How do I purchase the Digital Pass?

The Digital Pass can be purchased here. The Digital Pass is a single payment, with the option to pay via credit/debit card, Apple Pay or Google Pay. 

How much does the Digital Pass cost? 

The standard price is £15. A concession price of £7 is also available – no proof required, just select it at checkout. 

If paying £7 is not possible in your current circumstances, please contact [email protected]. 

Who is the concessionary rate for?

Anyone for whom £15 is not possible right now. No proof needed, no questions asked. 

Do I need to do anything to access the concessionary rate?

No. Just choose the £7 Digital Pass at checkout!

My payment for the Digital Pass did not work

Please check that you have done the following: 

  • Completed all the fields with an asterisk (*) 
  • Entered your payment details correctly 
  • Completed any additional payment verification requested by your bank

Can I cancel my Digital Pass?

The Digital Pass is one single payment. Once you have purchased your Digital Pass, you cannot cancel it. You will have access to Dance Umbrella’s digital programme until 30 November 2026. 

Can I get a refund on my Digital Pass?

Dance Umbrella will only issues refunds under the following circumstances: 

  • The user experiences significant technical difficulties 
  • The user is unable to access the digital programme all together 
  • The user purchases multiple Digital Passes under the same account 
  • The user purchases the Digital Pass after 30 November 2026

I purchased my Digital Pass, but I have not received any email confirmation and/or receipt

Please check your junk folder. If you still cannot find the email, contact [email protected].  

Can I purchase the Digital Pass as a gift for someone else?

You can do this by entering the recipient’s name and email address, and then using your own payment details and billing address. Please note that the recipient will receive the receipt and email to activate their Digital Pass, and there will be no indication that you have gifted them this Digital Pass. If you would like a receipt for your own records, please contact [email protected].
