Digital events announced for Dance Umbrella Festival 2021

This October alongside our previously announced in-person live performances, we’re thrilled to bring audiences a jam-packed programme of digital performances, in-conversations, articles and discussions.

Don’t miss Choreographer’s Cut with Claire Cunningham, Nora Chipaumire and Eddie Ladd; brand new digital performances from Jade Hackett and SAY; in-conversations, a panel discussion, articles and Dimitris Papaioannou’s Nowhere – the first time this full edit of the filmed version has been released online.

Digital Pass

For 2021, we are launching a brand-new Pay What You Can Digital Pass, which will give you exclusive access to all digital content within this year’s festival. Content will be released throughout the festival, and once live, all content will be available on demand until Sunday 24 October.

Give Them Their Flowers | artists in conversation with Jade Hackett

Bringing together some of the most exciting talent from London’s hip-hop dance scene, London Battle is a celebration of the capital’s globally renowned dance and music culture. Witness dancers go head-to-head with a diverse range of styles to create a thrilling digital dance performance.

 

SAY: AF (And Friends)

SAY: AF (And Friends) is a dance film collaboration produced by Dance Umbrella between dance artists Sarah Golding and Yukiko Masui and an exciting range of music artist collaborators. Merging dance influences, SAY create their own unique dance style.
