Dance Festival Croydon showcases and celebrates the diversity of contemporary dance for Croydon audiences. Curated by Beeja, the 2019 festival has included a series of four one-day events, the last of which will be presented as a part of Dance Umbrella’s Fairfield Takeover at Fairfield Halls.

Dance Festival Croydon presents exciting and eclectic programmes of performance by renowned Croydon-based, national and international dance companies and artists.

The Dance Festival Croydon event at Fairfield Halls will celebrate local Croydon talent and includes the following performances:

Next Level is a new programme for Croydon-based choreographers aged 16-24 years delivered by Dance Umbrella in partnership with Dance Festival Croydon.

Over the course of the programme two selected choreographers will develop their choreographic skills and be supported to create a new dance piece.

The final versions of the works will be presented as a part of Dance Festival Croydon.
