Now it’s your turn. Strap on your dancing shoes and take a spin around the floor in this performance event inspired by the endurance contests of 1920s and 30s America. Be ready to strut and twirl to the live music, be guided by the floor judges and dance with other participants as the competition and entertainment heats up.Those with two left feet can simply sit back to enjoy the fancy footwork.
Dance the night away in this immersive show which playfully integrates movement, text, music, video and audience interaction. Presented by Canada’s award-winning interdisciplinary theatre collective bluemouth inc., who will teach you dances including the box step and lindy hop, Dance Marathon is a night to remember. Round after round will be danced out against the clock, until only one couple is left standing and crowned champion. Could it be you?
