Acclaimed Israeli choreographer Barak Marshall, brings his dramatic and entertaining physical-theatre work to the UK for the first time in this Suzanne Dellal Centre production.
Monger [to hawk or to sell yourself] features Marshall’s innovative yet accessible theatricality, and fast, sharp movement language executed brilliantly by his ten powerful dancers. It is set to an engaging soundtrack taking in an eclectic range of styles from the grandeur of the Baroque to the exuberance of Balkan dance music. The narrative explores issues around migration and dignity with great imagination and humour.
