Dario Palermo

Dario Palermo's musical compositions have premiered at the most prestigious international festivals throughout Europe, Asia and the Americas.

His work, largely involving the use of new technologies, comprises pieces for soloists, ensembles and orchestras, as well as for installations and the theatre. He collaborates with video artists, sculptors, choreographers and poets.

In 2003 he was selected by the Reading Panel to study at  IRCAM, Paris (Institut de Recherché et Coordination Acoustique/Musique). He is regularly invited to teach composition and new technologies in many institutions worldwide.

Dario Palermo created the sound for The Difference Engine, a Dance Umbrella 2011 commission.
