A Brief Encounter with...Selenographica Dance Company
What Follows the Act

The Place: Robin Howard Dance Theatre
Mon 23 & Tue 24 October
Performed prior Ricochet Dance Productions

Incorporating gentle movements and gestures drawn from everyday living and loving, Maho Sumiji's exquisite duet is a reflection of domestic life in Japan. The emotions that traverse the dancers bodies are vibrantly underscored by an on-stage musician playing a variety of woodwind instruments. This work won the Toyota Choreography Award 2005.

Brief Encounters is a Dance Umbrella initiative which provides a platform for both talented new choreographers and short works by established artists. These works are performed prior to main stage shows.
